How to do it: Sit in a cross-legged position, with one shin crossed over the other. Inhale and place your left hand on your right knee. Rest your right palm on the floor behind you. Exhale and gently twist, turning your gaze over your right shoulder. (Switch sides to work on the opposite side of your body.)
Benefits: Gently wakes up and stretches the muscles around your spine. Stretches the outer hips.
